Channelling the tall boy design, this smart washing cup is handcrafted in a combination of brass and copper with an all-over hammered finish. It has smooth grooves for the fingers and thumb in the perfect spots making it very comfortable to handle. The Yiddish “Negal Vassa” or washing cups are used for the traditional Jewish ritual of washing hands before breaking bread. Customarily performed just before sitting down to a  meal with bread, the ritual involves pouring of water over hands from a special cup.
